The Jennifer Keese case has long held my attention. I do not know exactly why it has enraptured my interest but it has since day one. I have followed her case from the beginning and I have not changed my stance since it first occurred on what happened to her.
Before I delve into what my thoughts are I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family for going through this drawn out hell. I noticed that as of January of this year the family is having to take legal action against the Orlando PD which is disgusting to me. The family's investigators have a right to the information gathered so far. Why not allow the family's legal team to have access? What are they hiding from the public? The family has a right to the files and information contained therein as it pertains to the missing persons case of their loved one. I pray no one in the department that is making these outlandish decisions ever has to go through the hell the Keese family has for the past 12 years.

This case has been polarizing since the beginning. A beautiful, professional young lady missing from her apartment soon after returning from a trip with her long distance boyfriend gripped the local Orlando area for months after the fact. Jennifer was well known for being punctual so when she didn't arrive for work and her boyfriend tried to reach her the coworkers grew concerned and checked on her. Her parents also drove over to her apartment and could not locate her or her car. It is believed she went missing after getting ready for work with the possibility that she was kidnapped from the parking lot since her vehicle was later found at a nearby apartment complex about a mile from where she lived which may indicate that the person of interest is familiar with the area.
My thoughts are this:
She either knew the kidnapper via her work or the apartment complex, such as a maintenance worker or someone working in and around the area in the weeks leading up to her going missing. This is NOT someone she would consider a friend but someone peripherally aware of in her day to day life. She may have befriended this person by being just a friendly young lady going about her life however this person took it far more seriously. I believe this person was very familiar with her movements and may have been aware that she had been on a trip with her boyfriend and when she would be returning. How many times have any of us told complete strangers our vacation plans? It happens to us all. She may have been friendly with someone that worked in her apartment building or at work in the maintenance or custodial staff and while in casual conversation she mentioned certain things and this person took it as she was being flirtatious and "leading" them on when she was only being a kind person to someone. This is a common thread that occurs far too often when someone feels scorned by someone else that was never a true love interest however the other person took it too far in their mind. :(
Person of Interest thoughts:
I believe it is a small, effeminate male possibly of hispanic or asian descent due to the photos posted in regards to the person of interest. The stature is that of someone of smaller bone structure and thin, The photos are unfortunately time lapsed where the person is between fence posts during the lapses so you are unable to get a good profile view of them. What luck for the person of interest but heartbreak for the family and friends. I believe this is the person that harmed Jennifer. Jennifer was not a tiny person but of normal size when in comparison to the person in the photos it appears she may have been taller and about or a tad heavier than the person that kidnapped her which leads me to believe she was either rendered unconscious via a taser or chloroform or some other aid the kidnapper had at his disposal. Some speculate that this could be a female however I disagree. This is not a females walk nor mannerisms also a small female of this size would struggle greatly with another female of this size. Also, I believe the person has a bun of sorts that is unlike the typical woman's hair bun. It rides higher on the head and more in the middle than a woman's bun. It also appears that this person has shaved hair under the bun area. (What are your thoughts??) Also, if you look closely enough you can make out the dark colored (black?) rubber soled shoes the person is wearing that look like industrial or workman's shoes. Also, the person appears to be wearing a light colored shirt with khaki or light colored pants. This appears to be a uniform of sorts. The local area is saturated with resorts, tourism attractions, etc that require their employees to wear uniforms for continuity in the community. I believe this person is in their uniform.
Here are the photos to reference:

Here is the video breakdown of the person of interest walking in front of the apartment complex after Jennifer's car was left.
https://youtu.be/7pnHBqFOstY
Someone KNOWS something and is not speaking. This person has talked about what occurred and I can only surmise this person is either in jail on other charges, dead, moved from the area, or is known or connected to someone in power in the local area. It is also of note that I have searched some without finding any other missing women in the local area that are similar in circumstance to Jennifer's case which makes me believe even more it is someone she knew maybe not in a relationship way but peripherally. (What are your thoughts? Why?)
Which begs the questions: why not allow the family and their investigators and attorneys have access to all of the old records to include interviews? Why the secrecy? Why the silence until they are pushed? I agree with the family that something is being hidden or was mishandled in the very beginning which leads me to believe this person is known to the police or someone they do not want to mess around with because of repercussions. This is unacceptable as someone has gotten away with kidnapping and probably murder. :( This family has been through enough and it is time for the person responsible to pay for their crimes.
Again, for Jennifer's loved ones I pray for you daily that you receive answers and closure for Jennifer. God bless.

Tupac Shakur
I have been fascinated with Tupac Shakur's murder for years. Ever since his untimely passing I have been fascinated with his death. There are several theories that come to mind for many of us but I have my own thoughts on what occurred.
There are many new TV shows about his death that have highlighted a few of the theories such as: it was a hit by fellow artists jealous of his success, it was orchestrated by his employer--Suge Knight, it was in retaliation to his talk about east coast/west coast relations, it was in retaliation to the fight that occurred earlier that night at a casino in Vegas before the fight he attended, etc. What are some of your thoughts? Please share!
Here is my take on what occurred:
Tupac was too valuable an asset, yes asset, for Suge to want dead. He was making fists full of money daily with him alive as his top performer so why kill him off, no matter if they disagreed and Pac was about to go out on his own, they would not have parted like this even with Suge's assorted criminal past.
Fellow artists may be jealous however not enough to kill him in public like he was executed.
The east coast/west coast rivalry is a good motive however I do not see anything pointing to how it was orchestrated by either coasts or those representing the coasts mentioned.
I believe he was killed by the young man, or one of his fellow gang member "brothers", after the fight with Orlando (Baby Lane) Anderson in retaliation for fighting him and making him look bad in front of his fellow gang members. I think he was hell bent on making Pac pay for the embarrassment and in subsequent interviews with Anderson you can see his dishonesty by his shifting eyes, posture, laughing at inappropriate times during questioning, etc. Video of his interviews have been analyzed by profilers and voice analyst persons in which they concur with my beliefs about his guilt. Unfortunately nothing will ever come of the conviction of Anderson as he was killed in a shootout in Compton in 1998 before justice could be served. Part of the reason why he was never officially charged is because snitches around gangs do not live long and the few witnesses willing to speak to detectives have either died, clammed up, or provided non essential information. I believe his and Biggie's murders will never be solved officially because those that murdered them are either incarcerated currently, are dead, or have intimidated too many no to say anything about the crimes.
It is very sad that so much amazing talent is gone before their time due to the actions of a few. Tupac's mother, Afeni, stated for years that his death would not be solved and that her son was not involved in the gang atmosphere but in the peripheral outskirts. I agree that his death will never be officially solved. :(

Third, this is just my opinion in regards to what has possibly occurred. I pray daily she is found so that her family may have her home with them.
I have been following this case from close to the beginning via the FB group created by her family. She is missing from Cobb County, GA which is close to my childhood home. The following is taken directly from the FB page her family has set up:
My daughter, Tiffany Whitton, has been missing since September 12, 2013. She was last seen at the Walmart Supercenter on Cobb Parkway in Marietta, GA. When last seen, she was with her boyfriend, Ashley Caudle. He is a career criminal and drug dealer with a violent history. The police are involved but we need leads in order to find her. She has many friends and family members, all of whom are very worried and want to find her. We have no idea if she is missing because she chooses to be or if her safety is in jeopardy. All we do know is where she was last seen and that we want desperately to find her.
If you have information regarding the disappearance of Tiffany Michelle Whitton on September 13, 2013, please come forward. There are several ways you can report information. You can remain anonymous and still collect a $5,000 reward. Just please do the right thing now!

Tiffany is a bright light in her family's lives as noted on the FB page created by her mother. She is someone's child and as a mother I could not imagine what they are going through missing her daily.
As someone that studied criminal justice for over 15 years, and continuing now, I will repeat that this is just my opinion.
Tiffany was last seen at a Walmart in Marietta, GA on September 12, 2013 with her boyfriend which leads most to believe he may be involved and I do not disagree with that assumption however there are other factors that may be at play here. Of course I know the investigators have checked him out first and foremost as most missing persons under peculiar circumstances involve those closest to the person but who else could be close to her that may not have been known to the family? I am sure that has already been exhausted as well for resources however it begs to be looked at closely. The other day I watched a case on TV about a young woman that was stabbed to death by a former coworker that happened upon her after being with her boyfriend however it appeared the boyfriend was the culprit until the actual suspect committed a similar crime a few years later and DNA exonerated the boyfriend completely. My point is to not be completely closed off to the possibility that someone is involved.
Since he was the last one seen with her however I will state that he is probably involved somehow or at least knows more than he is letting on to the authorities. OR she may have been taken against her will by a known accomplice of his or someone that she had dealings with in regards to his nefarious actions in the past. In order to delve more deeply I would need more information in regards to cell phone activity, bank account activity, clothing at the time of disappearance, etc however my opinion is that she is not just missing anymore but something more sinister that only one or two persons know the outcome of this case. Until one of the them talks we may never know what occurred. :(
My prayers go out to her family and friends.
Bringing back my blog! :)

Jacob Wetterling
I have not posted a blog post in 8 months! I am glad to be back and plan on posting as much as I can on here about recent cases, or whatever peaks my interest or you, my readers! :)
In the beginning days of September 2016 the remains of 11 year old Jacob Wetterling were recovered by authorities in Minnesota. I have followed this case since it occurred in 1989 when I too was a young child of 11/12. This case hit home to me because my older sister was 12 when she was kidnapped, raped, and bludgeoned to death by her murderer. I followed this case with hope and prayers that he would be found at a local fishing spot wetting a line and enjoying the great outdoors with a friend however that is not the case. According to recent information released by LEO in MN Jacob's alleged killer admitted to killing him after raping, torturing, and killing him in which manner was not released. The killer "graciously" allowed LEO to know the location of Jacob's remains so that the family could bury him properly. In return for his cooperation and the statue of limitations he will not be charged with Jacob's horrific murder. HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE OR JUSTIFIED??? I am sure many of you are screaming the same thing but this is the sad, sad state of our criminal justice system. God forbid we infringe on the rights of criminals but hey let's screw the victims and their families out of justice so we can make things easier in the short term. I know LEO were tied in what they could as I am very familiar with the legal aspects HOWEVER I feel that if we were harder on criminals in the first place they would not be so quick to plea for lighter sentences. If we had public hangings I guarantee there would be a lot less people out committing murder. I know it sounds archaic however what in the world do we think occurred to this poor, sweet 11 year old boy at the hands of that depraved psychopath??? I doubt he gave him a milkshake and shook his hand after his horrible actions. NO! He more than likely restrained this poor boy while doing unimaginable acts to him all while gaining sexual pleasure. You may be thinking why not just castrate him or others like him that do these sexual depraved acts? Well, it has been shown that if they are castrated they will find other items to use to gain gratification and that removing their sexual organs, or hormones, will not stop the torturous actions at all but make them even more depraved because they find other items such as curling irons, boards, sex toys, etc. Yes, I have read reports of the above being used by sexual predators that have been castrated in order to help them "control" their urges.
My heart is broken for this family however my heart rejoices that they finally have answers and are able to bury him properly. I pray for them, and all victims of violence such as this, daily.
I pray this never happens to another family however we all know that is highly unlikely.
What are your thoughts? Did you think he would be found alive after all this time? After all there have been several in recent years found alive after being held captive for years by their tormentors. Or did you assume he was already dead soon after being kidnapped? What steps do you think we should take to prevent this from occurring?
Please share your thoughts and opinions.
Thanks for reading! :)

Making a Murderer
First, let me preface this with saying I have NOT watched this series however I have read a few articles in regards to the story and these are my musings thus far.
Steven Avery is guilty. Yes, there may have been evidence handled inappropriately however the overwhelming information and facts presented leave no doubt that he killed Teresa Hallbach. The evidence that I have read about is her key being found in his personal items, her bones being found in a burn pit on the property where she was last seen, her vehicle was found covered by debris on the property, her unease about being around him from previous experiences where he had made inappropriate sexual innuendos, and there are a few other items mentioned in other articles that clearly point to him. I do not believe his nephew assisted in the killing or rape. I believe he is an innocent mildly mentally challenged person that was roped into this trial to help the prosecution with their case. Mr. Avery had a history of sexual and other petty crimes that he had served time for previously. I believe he lured her out to his family's auto salvage yard with the intent of raping and murdering her. He is a predator and should not be released into the general public again or else more murder will likely occur at his hands. He is a sociopath and has no empathy for what occurs to others around him. He is playing the system like so many others however this time he has national attention because of the Netflix show, Making a Murderer. He claims he didn't kill her however I do not believe he has offered how she got to the burn pit on the property he lived on if not by his hands. Also, he has not offered why her vehicle was found on the property covered by debris and branches if not by him, or someone else in his family. His family of course believes his innocence however the victim's family and friends do not believe his innocence claim and are only (RIGHTFULLY!) looking for answers and closure (elusive and yet they will likely never find it) in this case. The victim's mother will not even be interviewed by the media due to the sensitive and painful memory of what her daughter likely endured.
What are your thoughts? Do you think he is innocent? Let me know….
