Young life taken

My sister, Mary Frances Stoner, was born January 10th, 1967 to my parents, Roy and Mary Stoner. She was a precious child and loved by many. Mary Frances enjoyed ballet (en pointe), baton twirling, reading and spending time with her family. She was a voracious reader and loved learning about everything around her but her dream was to perform in the New York Ballet one day.
She was only 12 years old on November 30th 1979, when the life coursing through her body was extinguished by a callous man named, Darrell Gene Devier. Over the course of the next few blog posts I will delve more into Mary Frances's life, her murder, the subsequent trials, appeals, and the ultimate sentence completion that ended Devier's life.
